Our co-founder Megi Miftari, In collaboration with Albanian Students Association (ALSA) and the University of Manchester Balkan Society, gathered at Manchester University Union Hub, hosting a meet-a-greet event and discussing career opportunities and sharing ideas with other like-minded individuals.
Megi is very passionate about her career in HR, and she used that to demonstrate her skills with great motives. She has also supported one of the attendees who also shared similar views in wanting to pursue a career in HR.
Megi said:”I had never spoken to or met any other Macedonians before, so I was very interested to hear stories other members shared and probed with questions to understand their backgrounds.”
She was very pleased to see the event take place, as did others who attended and travelled from Birmingham to be part.
Albanian Young Professionals Midlands (AYPM) is a network of forward thinkers that connects students and young professionals from the age of 18 to 35 based in the Midlands UK. AYPM brings members together to share and exchange their interests and to give them a sense of belonging.
From our inception, we have been keen to work closely with Alsa UK, UKAP (United Kingdom Albanian Professionals), Shpresa Programme and other organisations that share the same values and vision.
